Stjórnarfoss

Stjórnarfoss is a small but a very picturesque waterfall located next to an ancient site of the regional assembly, Kleifar. The waterfall is a part of the river Stjórn which originates in the mountain Geirlandshraun. From our hotel, the drive to Stjórnarfoss is only about 5 minutes.

This waterfall is a little bit of a hidden gem, since it is not one of the most visited ones in the south, but definitely worth seeing!
